A complete application includes the following:

• A completed online application form
• A $75 application fee
• Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
• Official GRE Score Reports
• Official Chemistry GRE Score Reports
• Official TOEFL scores (for all students whose undergraduate work was not done in English)
• A statement of purpose describing your experience and career goals
• Three recommendations from persons who can provide academic and/or professional references

Getting Started

The Department of Chemistry invites you to take advantage of our online application process.

You do not have to complete the entire form during one session. The application can be saved at any point, and you may return to it at your convenience. When you are ready to submit, be sure to have your credit card information available so that you can submit payment at that time.

Applications are reviewed on a continuous basis beginning in November. Applications received later will be considered as time permits.

Applications for Spring are due on October 15.
